Exciting News for Pakistani Students. If you dream of studying in Turkey, here's your chance. TED University in Ankara is offering big scholarships for Pakistani students in turkey who want to join 23 bachelor's and 17 master's programs in the upcoming Fall 2024 term.
In a special online meeting called Devcom-Pakistan on Sunday, TED University shared some great news. New students can get scholarships from 25% to 100%, depending on how well they've done in school and other things. And here's something even better – Pakistani students won't need to take the GRE or English tests.
Özgür Can Öney, who works in the International Programs Office, talked about how great TED University is in Ankara. They have really smart teachers who care a lot about helping students. And guess what? They have lots of things like classrooms, health services, and fun activities, and it's all free.
The bachelor's degrees are in five areas: architecture, psychology, math, and engineering. And for those who've finished college, there are more studies like data science, economics, and engineering management.
At TED University, there are about 5,000 students. That means for every teacher, there are 24 students, so everyone gets lots of help. They want students to work together on projects and learn from their teachers.
Haares Munir, who leads the group of students from other countries, said how much he feels like he belongs at TED University and how nice everyone is there. He talked about how they have health services, sports, and fun things to do, and chances to learn how to be a leader.
They want students to have fun and learn outside too, not just in class. It makes their time at university even better. They also think it's good if students can speak Turkish, even just a little bit, so they can talk to people and handle everyday stuff.
Mr. Munir Ahmed, who's in charge of Devcom-Pakistan, talked about how Turkey and Pakistan have been friends for a long time. He said it's really important for them to work together on lots of things.
The program where students from both countries swap places is all about helping them understand each other better and making their friendship stronger. Levent Ocal, who's in charge of international programs at TED University, said a big thank you to Pakistani moms for letting their kids study in Turkey. He talked about how nice everyone is to Pakistani students there, like they're all family.
