The temporary federal government has started a new project for workers in Balochistan to help them with education and housing.
Jawad Sohrab Malik, who helps the Prime Minister, opened a special project for workers' well-being in Balochistan. This includes building a girls' high school in Sibi city and making 100 new homes in Muslim Bagh, a town in Balochistan.
The temporary government gave five acres of land to build houses. SAPM Jawad also started building a new high school for girls whose families include 5,605 workers in the town.
People were happy when the helper of the temporary Prime Minister talked about the homes and school projects for workers. The statement on Saturday said that the temporary government is trying hard to help the workers in the province.
Last month, the governments of Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa suggested to the central government, before the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting, that the elected government should decide on the provincial projects, as per The News report.
According to the information, the news said that the three provinces suggested to the temporary government to let the elected government decide what should happen with the provincial projects.
They didn't like the idea of stopping the provincial projects, which get money from the federal development budget. They also said no to doing the projects themselves. So, they suggested letting the next elected government decide what to do with the provincial projects.
The information was shared before a big meeting called the NEC. In that meeting, they were going to talk about stopping 76 provincial projects that haven't made any progress yet. These projects cost Rs121 billion, and they were thinking about taking them out of the federal development budget.
