A student from Islamia College Peshawar sadly ended his life after not passing the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) after trying three times.
The student, from Parachinar, was learning about animals at Islamia College Peshawar. The MDCAT test happened in KPK again on Sunday because some students cheated in the first test.
The student who passed away reportedly swallowed something harmful on November 27 because he didn't pass the medical college admission test after trying three times.
The person in charge at the college said the student's roommate told the person in charge of the dorm when they found the student very sick in their room. Even though the doctors tried hard to help, the student passed away early Tuesday morning at the hospital. The student's father said his son ended his own life after not passing the test three times.
The Khyber Medical University Peshawar shared the MDCAT test results. Six students got the top spot by scoring 192 marks each. Also, five students got the second spot with 191 marks each.
The test's results showed that most students did well, with 75% passing the MDCAT. Among the 46,218 students who signed up, 34,852 took the test, but 11,366 students didn't attend.
