Habib University has a special way of making sure smart kids from different families can get good education. This helps Pakistan be well-known in the world for its great way of teaching. The university was praised for being really good at teaching many things in two important events in the USA – the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) Annual Meeting 2023 and a celebration at Stanford University for people who give a lot to help others.
For the first time ever, a Pakistani university called Habib University got asked to talk at NECHE (New England Commission of Higher Learning). NECHE is very old and famous for making sure universities are really good and care about students doing well in school.
Famous schools like Yale and Harvard are well-known for being really good and fair. Habib University's President, Wasif Rizvi, talked about something called "international agility." It's about how the university teaches students to understand the world around them, including their own lives and different kinds of knowledge. This helps students become smart and caring people who can help their community and work in different places around the world.
Habib University really cares about including everyone. They have a way of making sure all the smart students can go to their school, no matter if they have a lot of money or not.

Habib University really values the help of the people it supports, called the Mohsineen. They had a big event at Stanford University on December 9 to celebrate the amazing help from the Dhanani and Jeewanjee families, together with important academic leaders like Dr. Alexander Key and Sarah Stein Greenberg.
"Making schools really good in Pakistan is a big challenge," said President Rizvi at the event. "We hope Karachi becomes an awesome city for super-smart teachers and students We want to show how awesome Pakistan can be by proving what it's really like."
The families that helped Habib University create the Dhanani School of Science and Engineering and the Imam Ali (AS) Endowed Faculty Chair in Wisdom and Humanities left a really special mark. This shows how people in the US help universities, knowing that education can make a big difference in the world.
Dr. Key, who teaches about different kinds of literature at Stanford University, said something nice about Habib University. He thinks the way they teach different subjects is even more interesting and well-organized than what they do at Stanford!
Greenberg, who works with Dr. Key at Stanford University, also agreed and praised Habib University. They think that Habib University is making sure everyone can get a good education and have the same chances to learn things all over Pakistan.
The event had people from different cities in the US and visitors on Stanford's pretty campus. This made Pakistan look good and let people talk about important things like how schools in Pakistan can be better, how some kids might not get the same chances, and other big problems.
