Zong 4G, a big phone company in Pakistan, is teaming up with Knowledge Platform, which helps with education using technology. They're working together to make a cool program called the "Digital Scholars Program." It will help change how kids learn in 60 schools and help 3,000 students in Pakistan.
The Zong Digital Scholars Program is an important part of Zong’s plan to make education better in places where it's hard to get good schooling in Pakistan. They picked schools in faraway places where not much help is available to give lessons using technology.
Before, Zong 4G helped groups like PAGE, HANDS, and PBM make digital labs in schools and places where people learn skills.
The main part of the Zong Digital Scholars Program is a Math Tutoring Program for kids in Grades 9 and 10. Zong worked with Knowledge Platform and teachers to make this program.
Also, there's a program in the Zong Digital Scholars thing where kids can study English and Sciences by themselves. They can learn about Biology, Chemistry, English, General Science, Math, and Physics if they're in Grades 9 and 10.
Schools in the program will get lots of things to help them teach, like plans for lessons, ways to check how well kids are learning, and fun games and videos for learning. Zong really wants to give schools what they need to make learning a great experience.
The Zong Digital Scholars program will give out awards to cheer on and celebrate students, teachers, and schools that do really well every month and every year. This shows how much Zong cares about making education awesome and saying thanks to everyone making it great.
The person who speaks for Zong 4G said: “Zong 4G and Knowledge Platform working together show how we want to make the future better using digital stuff. We really care about making education better and want to help kids in faraway places. With Knowledge Platform's help, we can change the lives of over 3000 students.”
The boss of Knowledge Platform, Mr. Mahboob Mahmood, said: “We're super excited to make new things for education with Zong 4G. Teachers from partner schools and Knowledge Platform will team up with students. We'll all teach and learn together, and we'll see how it goes so we can make it even better for more kids.”
Zong 4G is excited about how much good the Zong Digital Scholars Program can do for education in Pakistan. They hope that by working together, they can help make kids really good with digital stuff and make the country's future even better.
