The temporary group running things in Punjab said it's okay to make a new part of Punjab University in Daska. They decided this in a meeting led by the temporary Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Gujranwala.
Also, the group in charge said it's okay to build a place to sell vegetables in Gujranwala and to make a new area called Guwala Colony. They also agreed to make 24 new classrooms for DPS Gujranwala.
Also, the group in charge said they will make two special graveyards in Gujranwala. In the meeting, the boss, Commissioner Naveed Haider Shirazi, talked about things that are helping people in the area. One big thing they did was deciding that farmers should get at least Rs 4,000 for a certain amount of wheat to help them.
They also decided to give more money to families of government workers who pass away while working. They also set aside money to help artists who need some extra support.
The group in charge talked about making healthcare better. They want to build a new hospital for hearts in Lahore and change Jinnah Hospital to focus on hearts too. They also gave money to fix an old machine that helps doctors see inside bodies at Mayo Hospital.
In the meeting, they talked about changing the fees for checking transport vehicles and said okay to giving more money to build and take care of the Sargodha-Mianwali Road.
The group was worried that the irrigation department wasn’t doing enough to fix things. They said it's really important to plan and manage things better so they can do a better job.
